Miishkooki is a non-profit art space created by John Maloof, a Chicago native and artist known for directing the film 'Finding Vivian Maier' and curating/managing Maier's photographic archive.

Established to promote and show contemporary art of various genres, Miishkooki aims to promote emerging artists through its exhibition space and provide a workspace for artists to create art. All artists who exhibit work in the gallery keep 100% of revenue from the sales of their work. We also aim to benefit wildlife conservation and education through proceeds from donations and from direct fundraising exhibitions.

Miishkooki is located near downtown Skokie in Chicago’s North Shore. Our location is easily reached by car or public transportation and is a couple of blocks from the Yellow-Line, Oakton, 'L' stop.
